Chung and Thug’s Scary Movie

I was absolutely thrilled when author Gemal Seede approached me to create a third installment in the Chug and Thug series! I was even more excited to learn the plot would explore new territory compared to the first two books. This heartwarming story focuses on the little bug brother, who becomes frightened after accidentally seeing a scary video on TV. The narrative beautifully illustrates how his big brother and their friends rally to help him overcome this fear.

To visually represent this, I brought back the beloved cast from “Chug and Thug Ride Trike.” In a creative and collaborative effort, the group works together to make their own monster movie. Through this fun project, they all come to understand that such films are not real, but are simply stories brought to life by actors and special effects.

Join Chug and Thug on a thrilling adventure in “Chug and Thug’s Scary Movie”. When little Thug develops a fear of the dark after watching a scary movie, his classmates tease and mock him. But with the help of his older brother Chug, the two bugs come up with a plan to face their fears and turn the tables on their schoolmates. Will their plan work, or will they be too scared to follow through?

This heartwarming children’s picture book provides an opportunity for kids aged 4 to 8 to talk about their emotional challenges with their parents or teachers, teaching them the importance of courage and overcoming fear.
