Learning at Home Illustrated

This project was a pleasure to work on, as it uses illustrations to depict and celebrate the extraordinary dedication of teachers during a unique chapter in our recent history: the pandemic lockdown. Across Peru, educators displayed remarkable innovation and creativity, finding ways to connect with students despite the distance. Whether through video calls, audio messages, traditional puppets, or performing stories with their own families, teachers ensured that learning never stopped, even through the most challenging times.
About the Project
This project was a commission from Peru’s Ministry of Education, on their “Learning at Home” initiative, during 2020 lockdown, a time when continuing education was essential. It was a privilege to contribute to their efforts while we were all confined to our homes.
Following a nationwide call for stories, eight inspiring teaching practices were selected for their creativity. To motivate educators everywhere, these stories were proudly featured across the Ministry’s social media channels.
